Built on the mainland, just over the water from the Island city of Mumbai, Nhava handles 65% of India’s containerized traffic on a 2,500 acre site and currently lies 26th in the world rankings at 4.28 million teu per year with plans to increase this figure to nearer 20 million teu within 10 years. |
