British GT championship triumph

Taking the title!

Glynn Geddie has claimed the British GT Championship - a triumph that will take his career to new heights.

Allseas Global Logistics is proud to be sponsoring Glynn, who teamed up with his father, Jim, for the final time this season to finish third in their CRS Racing Ferrari 458 at Silverstone. The result was enough for the pair to take the title, becoming the first father-and-son team ever to win this prestigious event.

Geddie junior, 21, wants to use his success as a launch pad as he now considers his future. "I'm still on a real high after we managed to produce the goods at exactly the right time," he said. "Dad drove really, really well and handed the car over to me in a strong position, which allowed me to attack the field. In an ideal world, we would have loved to have gone out and won our final race of the season - but third was enough for us to take it."

This victory should create new opportunities in the seasons ahead, said Glynn. "But I now need to plan carefully for my future," he added. "I'm willing to consider any suitable offers but I'd like to think I'll be back in the British GT Championship alongside dad, as defending champions."

Jim paid tribute to his son for his final performance of the British GT season. "I was really happy with the way I drove at Silverstone - it's probably the best I have produced this season - and Glynn did what Glynn does best when he's behind the wheel. I am very proud of our achievement."

He said he could hardly bear to watch Glynn's race. "But we got there in the end, in what has been a hard season, and it feels really good to win the title. Now we need to consider what we are going to do in the future, while savouring and enjoying this victory."

Allseas is delighted to be supporting such a dynamic team, said Director Darren Wright. "I would like to congratulate the whole team on winning the championship," he said.  "It was hugely exciting for all of us."
