UNITED OCEAN LINES network partner ALLSEAS GLOBAL LOGISTICS wins prestigious IFW award

02 December 2011

"Allseas Global Logistics" was named the winner of the IFW Project / Heavylift Forwarder of the year.

“Allseas Global Logistics” was named the winner of the IFW Project / Heavylift Forwarder of the year.

The project contracted to Allseas Global Logistics involved the transport of five generator units as well as two equipment control rooms including vital components to serve as emergency power back-up units in the newly built nuclear power plant in Shimane.
The challenge of this project was the tight time frame but also the need to design and manufacture special transport and lifting equipment to realize a direct delivery at the power plant’s seaside without the possibility to make use of road transport due to size and weight of the individual components

“We congratulate Allseas Global Logistics for being named winner of the ‘IFW Project / Heavylift Forwarder of the year award’ for this challenging project carried out in an extremely professional manner. This award follows the BIFA award earlier this year proving the quality and dedication that is rendered towards the business by our individual partners” a spokesman of United Ocean Lines said.
