Breakbulk shipment of crane assembly – UK to Singapore

A booking from Great Yarmouth, less than an hours drive up the A12 from Felixstowe, to Singapore shouldn’t cause too many issues until the customer informs you that 1 piece is nearly 7m wide!

With multiple pieces and some seriously out of gauge dimensions to consider, notably 14.2m long , 6.8m wide and a maximum height of 4.6m, this cargo was only ever going to leave the manufacturers by the nearest seaport.

Allseas sourced a 500 tonne mobile crane, arranged for made to measure lifting slings to be manufactured, a coaster to call Great Yarmouth to load before sailing down the coast for transshipment to the Maersk Evora at the Port of Felixstowe all in time to sail on Christmas Eve!

This shipment of 741 M3 moved from door Great Yarmouth to arrival Singapore in 32 days.
