The Port of Busan (also called Pusan) is the largest port in South Korea and is the second largest city with a population of approx 3.6 million people. With a 2010 throughput of 14.2 million teu. Busan is currently ranked the worlds 5th largest port in terms of containerized cargoes.  Major industries in and around the Port include shipbuilding, electronics, steel, automobiles, ceramics, paper, and chemicals
