2011 IFW Heavy Lift / Project Forwarding Award

Allseas Global Logistics was named Project/Heavylift Forwarder of the Year in the International Freighting Weekly awards.

The award recognised our remarkable achievements in delivering a unique shipment that was to play a vital role in the recovery of Japan after the country’s tragic earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis.

We transported five vast generator units, two equipment control rooms and other vital components to the newly built nuclear power station at Shimane, all desperately needed just weeks before the plant was due to open. The various parts of the consignment had to be transported to Japan from locations in the Netherlands, the UK and the United States.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been honoured with this IFW award,” said Managing Director Andrew Morris. “It is a fantastic recognition of the expertise, efforts and achievements of the team involved in this project. When Allseas was entrusted with this delivery, we knew that the task ahead was huge, complex and immensely challenging, particularly as we were working to such tight deadlines. Indeed, the task drew on all of our expertise and experience, and relied on a good mix of meticulous planning, flexibility, innovation and on-the-spot problem solving.”

2010 BIFA Project Forwarding Award

Allseas Global Logistics earned the prestigious Project Forwarding Award at the annual BIFA Freight Service Awards.

This was in recognition of a project in which we sourced, assembled, packed and delivered all the materials, components, vehicles, equipment and supplies required to create a base camp for mine workers in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s remote jungle.

“We are really delighted to have won the BIFA Project Forwarding Award,” said Allseas Managing Director Andrew Morris. “This was a tremendously challenging project – and also one that gave us a huge amount of satisfaction for a job well done. This award is real recognition of the efforts put in by so many people within the Allseas Group.”
